THE PROBLEM
Haystack Insights faced difficulties in managing and prioritizing research data. Their use of Google Sheets and Docs led to disorganized information. This made it hard to prioritize research, track technology categories, and handle operating company data effectively. These issues hindered their ability to provide timely insights to clients.

This made prioritizing research, tracking tech categories, and handling company data difficult. As a result, they couldn't deliver timely insights to clients.
We set out to create a Research Operations Management System in Notion for Haystack Insights. The goal? To help them effectively manage and prioritize research on parent and holding companies. We aimed to streamline data management across the board - from tech category tracking to deep-dive insights organization.
Our system focused on establishing a clear research prioritization workflow, improving data access, and boosting collaboration. The end game? Ensuring Haystack Insights could readily provide insights to meet client demands.
